Let Heaven Rejoice
Bob Dufford, SJ

Let heaven rejoice and earth
be glad; let all creation sing.
Let children proclaim through
ev’ry land: “Hosanna to our King!”

Sound the trumpet into
the night; the day of
the Lord is near.
Wake his people,
Lift your voice,
proclaim it to the world.

Let heaven rejoice and earth
be glad; let all creation sing.
Let children proclaim through
ev’ry land: “Hosanna to our King!”

Rise in splendor;
shake off your sleep;
put on your robes of joy.
And in the morning you
shall see the glory of the Lord.

Let heaven rejoice and earth
be glad; let all creation sing.
Let children proclaim through
ev’ry land: “Hosanna to our King!”

Raise your voices, be not afraid.
Proclaim it in every land.
Christ has died, but He has risen;
He will come again.

Let heaven rejoice and earth
be glad; let all creation sing.
Let children proclaim through
ev’ry land: “Hosanna to our King!”

Glory to God
Sonny L. Briones

Glory! Glory to God!
Glory to God on high!

And peace on Earth,
Goodwill towards men.
We worship you,
we give you thanks,
we praise you for your glory.
We worship you,
we give you thanks,
we praise you for your glory.

Glory! Glory to God!
Glory to God on high!

Glory to God on high!

1st Reading

56:1–3a, 6–8

A reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah

THUS SAYS the Lord: Observe what is right,
do what is just; for my salvation is about to come,
my justice, about to be revealed.
Blessed is the man who does this,
the son of man who holds to it;
who keeps the sabbath
free from profanation,
and his hand from any evildoing.
Let not the foreigner say,
when he would join himself
to the Lord,
“The Lord will surely exclude me
from his people.”
The foreigners who join themselves
to the Lord, ministering to him
loving the name
of the Lord,
and becoming his servants
all who keep the sabbath
free from profanation
and hold to my covenant,
them I will bring to my
holy mountain and make joyful
in my house of prayer;
their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be acceptable on my altar,
for my house shall be called
a house of prayer for all peoples.
Thus says the Lord God,
who gathers the dispersed of Israel:
others will I gather to him besides
those already gathered.

The Word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God.

Responsorial Psalm

Ps 67

R. O God, let all the nations praise you.

May God have pity on us
and bless us; may he let his
face shine upon us. So may
your way be known upon
earth; among all nations, your
salvation

R. O God, let all the nations praise you.

May the nations be glad and
exult because you rule the
peoples in equity; the nations
on the earth you guide.

R. O God, let all the nations praise you.

The earth has yielded its
fruits; God, our God, has
blessed us. May God bless
us, and may all the ends of
the earth fear him!

R. O God, let all the nations praise you.

Alleluia, Alleluia.

Lord, bring us your peace that we may rejoice before you with a perfect heart.

Alleluia, Alleluia.

Gospel

5:33-36

A reading from the holy Gospel according to John

Jesus said to the Jews:
"You sent emissaries to John,
and he testified to the truth.
I do not accept testimony
from a human being,
but I say this so that you may be saved.
John was a burning and shining lamp,
and for a while you were content
to rejoice in his light.
But I have testimony greater than John’s.
The works that the Father gave me to accomplish,
these works that I perform testify on my behalf
that the Father has sent me."

The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.

Dan Schutte, SJ

Holy, holy, holy
Lord God of Hosts.
Heaven and Earth are full,
are full of Your glory.
Hosanna, hosanna,

Blessed is he who comes,
who comes in the

When We Eat This Bread
Light from Light
M.V. Francisco, SJ

When we eat this Bread
and drink this Cup,
we proclaim your Death,
O Lord,
until you come again,
until you come again,
we proclaim your Death,
O Lord.

The Lord's Prayer
Traditional

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who
trespass against us; (Hmm)
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us,
deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours now and forever.

Lamb of God
Eric Robert M. Santos

Lamb of God, you take away
the sins of the world,
have mercy on us,
have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away
the sins of the world,
have mercy on us,
have mercy on us.

Lamb of God, you take away
the sins of the world,
grant us peace.

Halina Hesus
Titik: R. B. Javellana, SJ Musika: E. P. Hontiveros, SJ

Halina, Hesus, halina!
Halina, Hesus, halina!

Sa simula isinaloob Mo,
O D’yos, kaligtasan ng tao,
Sa takdang panahon ay
tinawag Mo, isang bayang
lingkod sa Iyo.

Gabay ng Iyong bayang hinirang
ang pag-asa sa Iyong Mesiyas;
“Emmanuel” ang pangalang
bigay sa Kanya:
“Nasa atin ang D’yos tuwina.”

Halina, Hesus, halina!
Halina, Hesus, halina!

Isinilang S’ya ni Maria,
Birheng tangi, Hiyas ng Judea;
at “Hesus” ang pangalang bigay sa Kanya:
“Aming D’yos ay Tagapagadya.”

Darating muli sa takdang araw,
upang tanang tao’y tawagin
at sa puso Mo, aming Ama’y
bigkisin sa pag-ibig na di mamaliw.

Halina, Hesus, halina!
Halina, Hesus, halina!

Balang Araw
M.V. Francisco, SJ Silvino Borres, SJ

Balang araw ang liwanag,
matatanaw ng bulag
ang kagandahan ng umaga,
pagmamasdan sa tuwina.

Aleluya, aleluya!
Narito na'ng manunubos.
Luwalhatiin ang Diyos!

Balang araw tatakbo
ang pilay at ang lumpo,
Magsasayaw sa kagalakan, Iindak sa katuwaan.

Aleluya, aleluya!
Narito na'ng manunubos.
Luwalhatiin ang Diyos!

Aleluya, aleluya!
Narito na'ng manunubos.
Luwalhatiin, Luwalhatiin,
Luwalhatiin ang Diyos!
