Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, serve the Lord
with gladness.
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, come before
him singing for joy!
Know that He,
the Lord is God, He made us,
we belong to Him,
and we are his people,
the sheep of his flock,
the sheep of his flock.
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, serve the Lord
with gladness.
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, come before
him singing for joy!
Go within his gates
giving thanks.
Enter his courts
with songs of praise.
Give thanks to Him
and bless His name,
and bless His name.
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, serve the Lord
with gladness.
Cry out with joy to the Lord
all the earth, come before
him singing for joy!
Come before him
singing for joy!
Psalmody
PSALMODY
Ant. 1 Glorious is the Lord on high, alleluia.
Psalm 93
Splendor of God the Creator
The Lord is king, with majesty enrobed; †
the Lord has robed himself with might, *
he has girded himself with power.
The world you made firm, not to be moved; †
your throne has stood firm from of old. *
From all eternity, O Lord, you are.
The waters have lifted up, O Lord, †
the waters have lifted up their voice, *
the waters have lifted up their thunder.
Greater than the roar of mighty waters †
more glorious than the surgings of the sea, *
the Lord is glorious on high.
Truly your decrees are to be trusted. †
Holiness is fitting to your house, *
O Lord, until the end of time.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, *
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, *
and will be for ever. Amen.
Psalm Prayer
All power and all authority in heaven and earth have been given to you, Lord Jesus; you rule with decrees that are firm and trustworthy. Be with us always so that we may make disciples whose holiness will be worthy of your house.
Ant. Glorious is the Lord on high, alleluia.
Ant. 2 To you, Lord, be highest glory and praise for ever, alleluia.

Psalm 148
Praise to the Lord, the Creator
Praise the Lord from the heavens, *
praise him in the heights.
Praise him, all his angels, *
praise him, all his host.
Praise him, sun and moon, *
praise him, shining stars.
Praise him, highest heavens *
and the waters above the heavens.
Let them praise the name of the Lord. *
He commanded: they were made.
He fixed them for ever, *
gave a law which shall not pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth, *
sea creatures and all oceans,
fire and hail, snow and mist, *
stormy winds that obey his word;
all mountains and hills, *
all fruit trees and cedars,
beasts, wild and tame, *
reptiles and birds on the wing;
all earth’s kings and peoples, *
earth’s princes and rulers,
young men and maidens, *
old men together with children.
Let them praise the name of the Lord *
for he alone is exalted.
The splendor of his name *
reaches beyond heaven and earth.
He exalts the strength of his people. *
He is the praise of all his saints,
of the sons of Israel, *
of the people to whom he comes close.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, *
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, *
and will be for ever. Amen.
Psalm Prayer
Lord, extolled in the heights by angelic powers, you are also praised by all earth’s creatures, each in its own way. With all the splendor of heavenly worship, you still delight in such tokens of love as earth can offer. May heaven and earth together acclaim you as king; may the praise that is sung in heaven resound in the heart of every creature on earth.
Ant. Praise the Lord from the heavens, alleluia.

1st Reading
Ex 19:2-6a
A reading from the Book of Exodus
In those days, the Israelites came to the desert of Sinai and pitched camp.
While Israel was encamped here in front of the mountain,
Moses went up the mountain to God.
Then the LORD called to him and said,
“Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob;
tell the Israelites:
You have seen for yourselves how I treated the Egyptians
and how I bore you up on eagle wings
and brought you here to myself.
Therefore, if you hearken to my voice and keep my covenant,
you shall be my special possession,
dearer to me than all other people,
though all the earth is mine.
You shall be to me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation.”
Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
℟. (3c) We are his people: the sheep of his flock.
Sing joyfully to the LORD, all you lands;
serve the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful song.
℟. We are his people: the sheep of his flock.
Know that the LORD is God;
he made us, his we are;
his people, the flock he tends.
℟. We are his people: the sheep of his flock.
The LORD is good:
his kindness endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
℟. We are his people: the sheep of his flock.
2nd Reading
Rom 5:6-11
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans
Brothers and sisters:
Christ, while we were still helpless,
yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly.
Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person,
though perhaps for a good person
one might even find courage to die.
But God proves his love for us
in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
How much more then, since we are now justified by his blood,
will we be saved through him from the wrath.
Indeed, if, while we were enemies,
we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son,
how much more, once reconciled,
will we be saved by his life.
Not only that,
but we also boast of God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Thanks be to God.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent and believe in the Gospel.
Alleluia, Alleluia.
Gospel
Mt 9:36—10:8
✠ A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew
At the sight of the crowds, Jesus’ heart was moved with pity for them
because they were troubled and abandoned,
like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples,
“The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few;
so ask the master of the harvest
to send out laborers for his harvest.”
Then he summoned his twelve disciples
and gave them authority over unclean spirits
to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness.
The names of the twelve apostles are these:
first, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew;
James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector;
James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus;
Simon from Cana, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed him.
Jesus sent out these twelve after instructing them thus,
“Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town.
Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons.
Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.”
At the end of the Gospel, the Deacon, or the Priest, acclaims:
The Gospel of the Lord.
All reply:
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Then he kisses the book, saying quietly:
Through the words of the Gospel
may our sins be wiped away.
The Creed is said.
Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ.
Nicene Creed
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of
the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified
under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right
hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the
Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son
is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in One, Holy,
Catholic and Apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism
for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to
the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
Handog namin sa Iyo, Ama,
ang tinapay at alak na ito
Handog ng bayang umaasa,
sumasamba’t nagmamahal
sa ‘Yo
Nawa’y dalhin ng ‘Yong anghel
ang aming panalangin
sa‘yong dambana
Katulad ng halimuyak ng insensong
umaakyat sa kalangitan
Handog namin sa Iyo, Ama,
ang tinapay at alak na ito
Handog ng bayang umaasa,
sumasamba’t nagmamahal
sa ‘Yo
Nawa’y ang aming kaloob
maging si Hesukristong aming Panginoon
Ang sinumang tumanggap at makisalo
ay mabubuhay kailanpaman
Handog namin sa Iyo, Ama,
ang tinapay at alak na ito
Handog ng bayang umaasa,
sumasamba’t nagmamahal

When we eat this Bread
and drink this Cup,
we proclaim your Death,
O Lord,
until you come again,
until you come again,
we proclaim your Death,
O Lord.
M.V. Francisco, SJ
Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread, and
forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who
trespass against us;
and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us,
deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and forever.

One thing I ask: to dwell in
the house of the Lord all my days,
to gaze on His goodness
and walk in His ways.
He will shelter me;
He will be my strength.
In the triumph that He brings me,
I can hold my head high.
In His house I shall lift up my voice.
I will sing, I will praise the Lord.
One thing I ask: to dwell in
the house of the Lord all my days,
to gaze on His goodness
and walk in His ways.
Amen.
You who dwell in the shelter
of the Lord who abide in
His shadow for life.
Say to the Lord, "My refuge,
my rock in whom I trust!"
And He will raise you up on
eagles' wings bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
The snare of the Fowler will
never capture you and famine
will bring you no fear.
Under His wings your refuge,
His faithfulness, your shield.
And He will raise you up on
eagles' wings bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
For to His angels, He's given
a command to
guard you in all of your ways
Upon their hands, they will
bear you up lest you dash
your foot against a stone.
And He will raise you up on
eagles' wings bear you on the breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand
And hold you, hold you
in the palm of His hand.
Gospel Canticle
Ant. The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds; yet when full-grown it is the largest of shrubs.
Canticle of Zechariah
Luke 1:68-79
The Messiah and his forerunner
Blessed + be the Lord, the God of Israel; *
he has come to his people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty savior, *
born of the house of his servant David.
Through his holy prophets he promised of old †
that he would save us from our enemies, *
from the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our fathers *
and to remember his holy covenant.
This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham: *
to set us free from the hands of our enemies,
free to worship him without fear, *
holy and righteous in his sight
all the days of our life.
You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High; *
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
to give his people knowledge of salvation *
by the forgiveness of their sins.
In the tender compassion of our God *
the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, *
and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, *
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, *
and will be for ever. Amen.
Ant. The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds; yet when full-grown it is the largest of shrubs.
God’s spirit is in my heart.
He has called me and set me apart.
This is what I have to do.
What I have to do.
He sent me to give the
good news to the poor,
tell pris’ners that they are pris’ners no more.
Tell blind people that they
can see and set the downtrodden free
And go tell ev’ryone the
news that the kingdom of God has come.
And go tell ev’ryone the news that God's kingdom has come.
Just as the father sent me,
so I’m sending you out to be
my witnesses throughout the world, the whole of the world.
He sent me to give the
good news to the poor,
tell pris’ners that they are pris’ners no more.
Tell blind people that they
can see and set the downtrodden free
And go tell ev’ryone the
news that the kingdom of God has come.
And go tell ev’ryone the news that God's kingdom has come.
I am my Father’s child.
He takes My hand to lead
and guide me through,
The first days when
I was still struggling
And learning how to walk.
He never let me stumble,
I am my Father’s child.
I know and I believe
My Father loves me.
He never leaves me
I always want to be like my Father.
He’s everything to me 'cause
I am my Father’s child.
I know and I believe
My Father loves me.
He never leaves me
I always want to be like my Father.
He’s everything to me 'cause
I am my Father’s child.
'Cause I am my Father’s child.
